You know, I really wish I could write one of these daily... Hell, even weekly would be enough for me. The problem is, like I said last time, I have nothing to write about. When In fact there basically is nothing to write about. Sure, I could talk about stuff that's important, but who wants that?
The US Dolphin delay... (was it also supposed to be delayed in Japan?? I don't remember and I'm too lazy to type in a URL and click on a few links) Yes, that's right (did you think I was going to be able to ignore this??).
Anyway, a lot of people have been angered by the delay. When I saw the news I was relieved and a little upset*. I was upset 'cos I knew people would be angry with Nintendo. Nintendo kept on saying it was coming late this year. So now we've got all these 'fans' going around saying how Nintendo just lost another customer and everything. Patooie! That's what I say. If they were such 'fans' they would/should not be surprised if Nintendo did/does delay something.
Now, why was I relieved? I probably won't have to make a decision whether to get the PS2 first or Nintendo's system. I would have ended up getting them both anyway, but I'm glad I won't have to worry about it. I probably would have ended up picking Nintendo's system over Sony's... But that's just me. The only game that has been announced for Playstation 2's launch that interest's me is Ninja Gaiden. 'But Nintendo hasn't even announced one game for Dolphin's launch (or the official name of the system for that matter), yet you'd still choose it over PS2?' Yes. Just as long as it had a game or two that were really good. And knowing Nintendo, that wouldn't be a problem... Which brings me to another reason the delay would be a good thing - More time. Nintendo and all the third/second party's have more time to develop their games. Which is usually (but not always) a good thing. That is, for third party's. As for Nintendo and/or Rare it is always a good thing. And I expect nothing but the best from them.
I'm very much looking forward to both systems, but I want more games before I'm really looking forward to either of them. And then there's X-Box.....
But right now, it's still a rumor... Or is it? Dunno, I'll wait 'til Nintendo says something about it (or have thay?! Arrg!).
* Not upset as in crying like a little school girl, but upset as in I had 'that feeling' in my stomache.
Whelp, I need to reformat my harddrive, but I have no way to back up any of my data. I've only got 2 GB worth... Most of it is stuff that I can't replace and the rest is just stuff that's too big to want to download again. Oh well, I'll figure a way out to get a CD recorder or something.
I could say something about the Playstation 2 launch in Japan, but I won't - I don't want to get caught in all the hype, just yet.
....Until I do though I'll just have to sit and stare at these.. Yeah, so it's a crappy picture, but hey...
Someone likes to get into computers! I wonder if he could have formatted my harddrive for me... Then I wouldn't have to worry about backing up all my crap.
Ugh, just another lonely day in my room... Not even my Dreamcast is on!
Okay, I need something else besides low quality pictures... Oh, wait, I don't got anything else.
