Well, it took me long enough to get my site back up, yeah? I thought I was gonna have it up before the new year. In fact, I could have had it up before the new year. The reason I did not have it up before the new year was 'cos I went through 3 or 4 different layouts. I'm glad I took my time with it though. I like this layout much better then the others I had. Plus this one seems to look basically the same on all the browsers I tested it on (a whopping 3).
Wanna know what's pathetic? I've only got two games since Christmas. I got one for Christmas (Star Ocean 2) and one just last week (Soul Blade\Edge ($12, can't beat that)).
I am enjoying Star Ocean quite a bit, although I'm not very far in the game, it's pretty good. The music is some of the best I've heard in a recent RPG (it's at the top of my 'OSV's to buy' list). The battles are cool, especially after playing FFVIII and VI so much. But this isn't a review so I'm not gonna review it here.
Soul Blade on the other hand... I feel kinda pathetic playing it after Soul Calibur. The game just feels so slow compared to Soul Calibur. I popped Soul Calibur in after playing Soul Blade for about 1 1/2 and my eyes felt .... Soft and squishy? What does Soul Blade run at? 30FPS? That isn't bad but compared to Soul Calibur's 60, it's horrible. I'm not trying to bash the game. But I feel the $12 I spent on it was for the music (which, $12 isn't bad for a CD). I'm sure if I give the game more time I'll grow to love it... 'cept I loved Soul Calibur right off the bat.
What's all this stuff about the Nintendo 64 being dead? It's kinda sad, really. I mean, I'll be the first to admit that it is coming to the end of it's life, but it is by no means dead.
Sure, I could go off on Eternal Darkness, Perfect Dark and Legend of Zelda: The Mask of Mujula, but everyone wants those games... Wait, if the Nintendo 64 is dead, why would anyone want games? Doh! My brain hurts!!
The three games listed above do not make up all the games I am looking forward to. I mean, who doesn't want Kirby 64? Kirby! C'mon people! You know you need Kirby! (I am NOT being sarcastic!)
So go ahead, sell your Nintendo 64 if ya want, but you sure as hell can't play my Perfect Dark when it gets here and I won't even let you look at Kirby! Just remember that.
I could go off on more things... Well, no, actually I couldn't. I'm to damn tired. I think I'll go to bed, wake up and think of stuff to write for tommorow (while I'm eating, off course). Yes, this is a rather small, but... They'll all probably be small. Oh well.
